Mexico : supporting the fight against climate change

AFD has granted a 185 million euro loan to Mexico to support its action to combat climate change. It opened an office in Mexico in September 2009 and has a mandate to support green and inclusive growth.<More>


Egypt : wastewater treatment plant extension

AFD is financing the extension of the Gabal el Asfar wastewater treatment plant alongside the African Development Bank. This extension will raise the plant’s treatment capacity by 500 000 m3 a day. It will become Africa’s biggest wastewater treatment plant.<More>
